The new pedestrian cycle path located north of the city of Shenzhen allows theconnection between the most central areas of the city with the more peripheralones through the sole use of sustainable mobility.
The architecture studio was commissioned to find an architectural and iconicsolution for 3 area of the entire itinerary.
The entire pedestrian and cycle path is suspended at a height of 15 meters abovethe road network.
The first architectural solution concerns the insertion of 3 consecutive bridgesthat move sinuously following the curvatures of the path.
The 3 bridges at different heights recall the shapes of the surrounding hills ofshenzhen and their shape allows to open specific views on the context.
The second bridge, on the other hand, is defined by a large arch with tie rods thatallow the bridge to be suspended and reduce the number of underlying pillars.Finally, the third point concerns the definition of the access gate of a cycle-pedes-trian tunnel inside a hill whose shape reflects the aerodynamic flow generated bythe movement of people on bicycles.
龙华-福田自行车专用道位于深圳市龙华区、福田区,为城市中部发展主轴,起点为金龙路-梅龙大道节点周边,终点接深业上城二层连廊,全长约5.4km。从人文关怀角度打造大湾区地标级第一条空中自行车道,树立城市名片,是实现片区连接多元化、焕发城市公共空间活力的重要通道。设计由南至北依次选取北环黄冈立交桥段、梅观路中段、隧道出入口三个节点进行景观设计,分别打造“云路鹏程”、“律动山川”、“将飞翼伏”的景观形象。第一段桥梁采用拱形结构形式,呼应骑行时人体的运动曲线及深圳市周边环绕的自然山体的流线,顺应桥身布置的灯光在夜幕下勾勒出桥体优美的轮廓,迸发自行车道的动感与活力。第二座桥采用了一个可以很大程度覆盖自行车道的大型拱,为人们提供了亲近城市新的视角空间。第三处设计节点为自行车隧道出入口段,其元素提取于自行车高速行驶时产生的轻快的气流形态,最终呈现出如鸟类在将要飞起之时收拢翅膀的体态,栩栩如生,故名“将飞翼伏”。
