The urban design plan define the new area for the Xi'an East Station and aims to build a new type of urban economic and cultural integrated area capable of representing an example of development for the entire city.Starting from the definition of the urban skyline, the scheme was conceived with the intention to define a skyline that is able to simulate the mountain movement regulating the height and roof form of all buildings in the area. The masterplan is instead defined by the creation of two different axes that ideally join in the directions of the main historical elements of the city of Xian. The two axes allow the creation of a large commercial axis within the masterplan that originates from the exit of the new railway station and a second green axis with spaces used for entertainment.The new buildings that define the entire masterplan are characterized by a common language that originates from the interpretation of the historic buildings of the city. The roofs are defined by a common movement that recalls the movement of the profile of the surrounding mountains, the facades by terraces and thin pillars that allow you to interact with the surrounding commercial spaces . The main axis of the entire masterplan is defined by the central Ccommercial avenue that starts in the square in front of the station, from east to west. The commercial avenue ends with the achievement of the digital intelligence future tower square, which is connected to the riverside park.
